Kargil Vijay Diwas
What is Kargil Vijay Diwas?
Kargil Vijay Diwas, or Kargil Victory Day, is a significant day observed annually on July 26 in India. The day commemorates India's triumph in the 1999 conflict with Pakistan and honours the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers during the war.
Friends Jay Hind, In this article you find Speech for Karkil Vijay Diwas.
Respected Principal,
my dear………. and dignitaries present on the dais.
(you can add here people respectively)
Do something such that the respect of the country increases,
Hit me in such a way that the glory of the tirange increases.
Bharo pichkaari such teen colours,
When it falls on the clothes, it becomes Hindustan, it becomes Hindustan.
Today, I am standing here with great pride in my heart, to speak a few words on Kargil Vijay Diwas. A day that reminds us of the bravery of our Indian soldiers.
Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on 26th July.
On this day in 1999, India won the Kargil War against Pakistan. Our brave Indian soldiers fought in the high mountains of Kargil in Jammu and Kashmir. The war lasted for more than two months, but finally, our soldiers pushed back the enemy and won the war.
But this victory came with a heavy cost. Let me remind you, these were not ordinary men. These were young sons of India who left their homes with a smile, carrying the weight of the tricolor on their shoulders and the hope of 1.4 billion hearts in their chests. They didn’t fight for fame, not for medals, not even for recognition.
They fought for us.
More than 500 Indian soldiers lost their lives. They fought fearlessly, without thinking about their own lives. They did not care about the cold, the pain, or the bullets, they only cared about protecting Mother India.
One of the famous heroes was Captain Vikram Batra. He gave his life in the war, but before that, he made sure his mission was successful. His famous words were:
"Yeh Dil Maange More!" which means "This heart wants more!", still echoes in our hearts. Yogendra Singh Yadav, who even after being hit by multiple bullets, climbed up the mountain and led his troops to victory. Captain Manoj Pandey, who smiled even as he bled, became a martyr so that we could breathe in freedom.
These heroes didn’t get a second chance at life. They gave it all - in one go.
Friends, We live in peace today because of the sacrifice of these soldiers. On this Kargil Vijay Diwas, let us not forget the pain of the families who lost their loved ones. A mother lost her son, a wife lost her husband, a child lost their father and yet they are proud because their loved one became a martyr for the country.
Let us always remember:
"A soldier dies only once. But he lives forever in the hearts of his countrymen."
We should always respect our Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. They are the real heroes. Not movie stars, not cricketers but the soldier who stands in the snow, hungry and tired, just to keep us safe.
Friends, this is a new brother, he will enter your house and kill you.
(If you want you can add it: Being patriotic doesn’t mean just shouting ‘Jai Hind’ on social media.
It means standing by the values they died for; unity, peace, courage, and responsibility. Let us promise today;
We will not take our freedom for granted.
We will respect the forces that protect us.
We will never let the spirit of Kargil fade.
On this Vijay Diwas, let us fold our hands and bow our heads in gratitude. To those who came back draped in the tricolor.
In the end, I would like to bow my head in respect to all the Kargil martyrs.)
Jai Hindi, Jai Bharat
Thank you.
Happy Kargil Vijay Diwas!
