Future Time Reference
In English, there are different ways to form/make the future sentences.
Let's learn eight different ways to form Future Reference.

1) Use of the simple present tense:

i) The IPL begins on 21st April.
ii) School reopens on 01st April.

2) Use of shall/will:

Will/shall is used to make a prediction about future events, in 
advertisements, posters etc.
i) India will win the World Cup.
ii) The Solar car will be on the roads soon.
iii) You shall live a happy life.

3) Use of going to:

Going to is normally used to refer to future events in two cases
i) If there is a present indication of the future event;
e.g., India is going to emerge as a superpower in 2030.
ii) to express intention
e.g., Riya is going to marry Aayan.

4) Use of present continuous tense:

The present continuous tense is used to refer to future events that have already been planned.
i) I am meeting the Director this evening. 
ii) I am sorry, I can't meet you tomorrow. I am visiting my native place.

5) Use of be + about to + infinitive:

The train is about to leave.

6) Use of be + to + v

The USA president is to visit India in October.

7) Not sure about the future:

i) They might stay at home tonight or they might go to the cinema.
ii) We could see Arhata at the meeting. She sometimes goes.

8) Use of should if there's a good:

chance of something happening:
i) We should be home in time for tea.
ii) The lecture should be over by seven o'clock.
